Spurs players warm up against Arsenal in Premier League

Tottenham Hotspur wraps up this weekend’s Premier League fixtures by hosting Leeds United later this afternoon.

Antonio Conte will take the canoe for his first home game in charge of Spurs, having replaced Nuno Santo almost three weeks ago. He remains undefeated after two games following a victory over Vitesse in the Europa Conference League and a 0-0 draw against Everton before the international break.

The Italian is now facing injury issues, while one of his starters will be sidelined due to suspension, so it will be interesting to see what kind of roster he names in N17 today.

Here’s what Football FanCast predicts …

There could only be two changes from the side that played the stalemate at Goodison Park.

Argentina duo Cristian Romero and Giovani Lo Celso are back from international duty with their own injury issues, the former could be out for a while after being suspected of a hamstring injury, while the latter is a major doubt before kick-off.

Davinson Sanchez seems the most likely option to replace him at the heart of Conte’s last three, although the £ 28.8million star has been called “real responsibility” for his side in the past.

Meanwhile, Lucas Moura could hold onto his spot in the final third, but he could take the No.10 position down center, which means Dele Alli is being snubbed again.

The other change could see Tanguy Ndombele start for the first time under Conté by replacing Oliver Skipp suspended in the engine room. He is likely to team up with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the middle, with Harry Winks on hold in case the Dane does not show up due to injury.

They, along with Harry Kane and Heung-min Son end the attack.

Further on, Sanchez will join goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, Eric Dier and left-back Ben Davies in defense, Sergio Reguilon and Emerson Royal bombarding the flanks.
