New Manitowoc law firm cuts ribbon on Wednesday
Mayer, Graff & Wallace LLP, a new law firm founded this year in Manitowoc, will host a groundbreaking ceremony and reception at its offices at 1425 Memorial Drive between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Free entry.
The Manitowoc County Chamber said in a press release that Mayer, Graff & Wallace, LLP was founded in 2020 by partners John Mayer, Ryan Graff and Justin Wallace.
“Our firm is of value in treating our clients’ issues like ours,” the firm said in the press release. “With the combined experience of our legal team and extensive knowledge of practice areas which include insurance claims, personal injury claims, business law, employment law, civil rights litigation and constitutional, estate planning and real estate litigation, we are confident in our firm’s ability to provide specific advice and support to meet your legal needs.
Andrea Schmitt promoted to Shoreline Credit Union
Shoreline Hometown Credit Union recently promoted Andrea Schmitt to Manager of Real Estate and MBL.
According to a press release, in his new role, Schmitt is responsible for setting sales targets to meet company goals in the mortgage and business departments. She will also lead the Mortgage and Commercial Loans team in all areas of lending. She is also responsible for the leadership and career development of mortgage and commercial lenders at Shoreline.
The release says Schmitt has knowledge in all types of loans – including consumer loans, mortgages and business loans – thanks to his more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Schmitt was born and raised in Manitowoc, where she received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Silver Lake College. She lives in the area with her husband and young son.
Shoreline Hometown Credit Union is headquartered in Manitowoc and is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative that serves approximately 9,000 members in nine counties: Brown, Outagamie, Winnebago, Door, Calumet, Fond du Lac, Kewaunee, Manitowoc and Sheboygan.
Ryan Angst named Shoreline mortgage originator
The Shoreline Hometown Credit Union also recently announced the appointment of Ryan Angst as Mortgage Originator.
A press release said that in his new role, Angst is responsible for granting all types of mortgages in any of the nine counties eligible for Shoreline membership.
Angst has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry in the Green Bay and Milwaukee markets. Born and raised in Green Bay, he graduated from Southwest High School and then attended UW-Platteville, where he played baseball and studied education. He lives in De Pere and spends time with his wife and two boys.
Dr. Kevin Polglaze joins emergency physicians at BayCare clinic
Dr Kevin Polglaze has joined emergency physicians at the BayCare Clinic.
Dr Polglaze received his medical degree from Midwestern University-Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. He completed a residency in emergency medicine at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston. It is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
He joined the emergency physician staff at the BayCare Clinic on April 13 and practices in Oshkosh, Green Bay and Two Rivers.
