Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed the law âOn Amendments to the Ukrainian Code on Administrative Offenses, the Ukrainian Criminal Code on Improving Responsibility for Reporting Incorrect Information and Not Submitting a Statement of an Authorized Person to perform self-state or local self-government functions, âadopted by the Verkhovna Rada on June 29.
âThe law improves legislation, which introduces criminal liability for reporting inaccurate information and non-reporting. In particular, the document qualifies false declarations as criminal offenses linked to corruption and increases the responsibility for these offenses, âreported the presidential press service.
